Welcome to Bichon Friends

Bichon Friends (the new name for Friends of Bichon Frisé Rescue) is a non-profit making organisation which raises funds to help Bichons who are in UK rescue centres and in need of medical treatment. Funds permitting we make a donation (paid directly to the vet carrying out the treatment) and once the dog has recovered, we post their details on our Dogs in ResQ page. We do not rehome dogs ourselves. All of our funds come from donations, subscriptions to our magazine or from shop sales.

As well as our general fund we also have a dedicated fund called Kitty's Wish which purely helps ex puppy farm Bichons.

2013 Calendar

Our calendar is a very good fundraiser for us. We are currently looking for Bichon photographs for our 2013 calendar. These are needed before the end of May 2012.

Use our EasyFundraising link to purchase goods online for free. We have raised £89.58 so far using this method! Thank you to those who have already registered. Please encourage your friends to do the same.

Funds Appeal

Following the donations we have already made this year our funds are running low. This means that we are currently not in a position to pay for a whole operation should a Bichon require our help. If you are able to make a donation, however small, then we would really appreciate your support. Thank you.

Articles Needed

If you see a dog related article, have a Bichon story, want to share a photo of your Bichon, have a dog recipe or a funny dog related joke then please pass it on to us. We'd love to include it in our magazine.
