MEMBERSHIP

Membership to Bichon Friends costs just £9.00 per year (UK subscription price only - please contact us for overseas postal price) and includes two magazines; one in the spring and one in the autumn. It is packed full of stories, Bichon related articles, jokes and a competition. The content is provided by volunteers and members alike. A couple of samples of the types of items contained in our previous magazines can be found on our magazine page.

To become a member of Friends of Bichon Frisé Rescue and pay by cheque please click here to download the form. Alternatively you can subscribe via PayPal but please be aware that PayPal fees have been added to cover costs.

There are two choices of payment method. The first option is that you chose to make a single payment. A renewal form will be sent out to you with your magazine. The second is a subscription payment account. This is created by PayPal and is solely controlled by you. The payment will be taken yearly until you chose to cancel.

We just want to clarify the paragraph on our form regarding your liability. As Friends of Bichon Frisé Rescue is a Private Company Limited by Guarantee the statement is there because it is a legal requirement - even if it wasn't we would tell you anyway because we have an open book policy. We created a Private Company simply to protect our members from personal liability (not that we have any intention of being sued!). Should the unexpected happen it would affect you because, as a subscriber, you would be classed as a member. Therefore when we created the company we capped the amount everyone would be liable for to a maximum amount of £1.00 (one pound). It also allows people who wish to work with us to check our credibility via Companies House.

GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS

Stuck for a gift for a friend or loved one? Why not buy them a gift subscription to our magazine and send them items from our shop too? Just drop us an email with your requirements, we’ll send you a PayPal invoice and post the goods out to you, or your friend’s address. Please contact us at least one week prior to the special date required. Thank you.
